In our product, we will have to sign an agreement with the artist 1Mawb to play his music on our programme. We will write an agreement that we can send to the artist, asking if we could have him in an interview, and play clips of his music. Along with this, we will script the video. This would limit the chances of tangents or offensive commentary being brought up. We do not want any of us to slander any people or places which could lead to us being sued for defamation of character.
The regulators who will regulate our radio programme will be Ofcom. This means to adhere to the Ofcom broadcasting codes we need to follow each one closely for our product to be suitable for the public. We cannot use offensive language or talk about offensive or sensitive content when recording our product. If we do talk about these things we will be sure to edit them out, when in post production. Ethically, to ensure we do not offend specific groups of people. We will not include conversations politics or religion.
We also need to make sure that we do not swear or motion anything offensive so that it is suitable for people under 18 so that we can have a larger listenership which will be better as we can promote to more people.
